Grosse Ile's baseball team saw a big change Monday, but an unfortunate streak stayed the same.

Coach Terry Chlebek, citing commitments to his young family, resigned Monday, hours before the Devils lost their seventh straight game to Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central.
Grosse Ile athletic director said Chlebek's parting was amicable and came with a pledge to help out if needed. He was in his fourth season.
Junior varsity Coach Joel Fabrus will guide the team for the remainder of the season.
The losing streak reached its seventh game with Monday's 13-3 loss to the Falcons.
It came two days after the Devils dropped a doubleheader to Baptist Park.
Spencer Brainard and Jake Jensen each had a pair of hits for Grosse Ile, which saw a 5-0 lead evaporate in the last two innings of the opener. The Wildcats scored four times with two outs in the seventh to win 6-5.
The Devils ran out of pitchers in the nightcap, a 15-0 shutout.
Riverview pounded out seven doubled and a home run in last Friday's 16-1 win.
"They crushed the ball all day," Chlebek said of the Pirates. "It was just their day."
Wednesday's visit from Monroe Jefferson was postponed by rain. The teams planned to make the game up yesterday if umpires could be retained.
The Devils (1-11-1, 0-6 Huron League) welcome Carleton Airport today and visit Milan on Monday for a doubleheader. They'll be at Flat Rock on Wednesday.
