Huron won the first and fourth games of the match but the Devils pulled out a 15-8 victory in the final contest to secure it.
"It's always nice to get a win," Coach Sara Slater said. "We hung in there and got it done at the end."
Gabrielle Giles led the Devils with 13 kills and four aces while Kelsie Kuppe and Beth Livernois added 11 kills each.
Lindsey Dixon had five aces and Tara Brin finished with 38 assists.
The Devils won their pool division but fell to Melvindale in the quarterfinals of Saturday's Romulus Invitational.
After topping Redford Thurston and Truman and splitting with Anderson in the preliminary round, Grosse Ile emerged as a top seed.
The Cardinals, however, sent the Devils home with a 27-25, 25-19 win.
Brin ended the day with 42 assists, Livernois had 14 kills, 17 digs and three aces and Giles added 10 kills, seven blocks and four aces.
Carly McLaughlin had 15 digs and Kuppe added 16 kills.
The Devils get the weekend off and welcome Flat Rock on Monday. Monroe Jefferson visits the island Wednesday.
